Objective of the QEC

- Program Monitoring: Reviewing teaching standards, learning outcomes, and the effectiveness of academic affiliations.
- Framework Development: Creating qualifications frameworks that define the expected knowledge and skills for each program level (e.g., Bachelor’s, Master’s).
- Faculty and Curriculum Development: Encouraging research, curriculum improvements, and staff development to continuously improve educational offerings.
- Annual and Program Evaluations: Monitoring new and ongoing programs to ensure they meet established standards and assessing students’ perceptions of the quality of education.
These activities align with broader guidelines provided by bodies like the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and other affiliated universities such as the Khyber Medical University (KMU).
